Each meal your client logs — the photo, the food, the calories and the macro breakdown — is there to review, for every client who has linked to you and granted access.
Comment on the meal itself
Leave a comment on a specific meal and your client reads it in the Caltrac app, next to the food it refers to, rather than in a separate thread they have to match up later.
A linking code your clients enter
After approval you get a code. Clients enter it themselves in the app — you never look anyone up, invite them, or add them on their behalf.
Your client controls access
Access starts when the client grants it and ends the moment they revoke it. Revoking is theirs alone, needs no approval from you, and takes effect immediately.

Your clients connect with your code
Each client enters your code in the Caltrac app and grants access to their meals. From then on you can review those meals and comment on them.

Your client decides, and can change their mind
A professional sees a client’s meals only after that client has entered the professional’s code and granted access, and that access covers exactly two things: reading the meals the client logs, and commenting on them. The client can revoke it at any time, without asking anyone, and it stops immediately. You cannot search for a client, invite one, or add one yourself — every link starts with them.

Is there a cost to join?
No. Applying is free and taking part is free — there is no fee to join the Caltrac affiliate network and none to keep using it. Caltrac is free for your clients too.
How long does the review take?
You will hear from us by email within 24–48 hours. Every application is read by a person at Caltrac, so there is no instant decision and no automatic approval.
What happens after approval?
We create your professional account, email you the sign-in details, and give you the linking code your clients enter in the Caltrac app. The professional console exists only after that approval — applying here does not create an account or grant any access.
Do my clients need to do anything?
Yes. Linking is always started by the client: they enter your code in the Caltrac app and grant access to their meals. You cannot search for, invite, or add a client yourself.

What does Caltrac do for my clients?
Your client photographs a meal and Caltrac identifies the food, estimates the quantities, and calculates calories and macros using USDA FoodData Central. Logging stays quick, which is what makes a food diary last beyond the first week.
